The right music can distinguish an affair and enhance the atmosphere for guests to freely mingle and fully enjoy the occasion. The mood and ambience created by the music truly can make a difference.  Often comments are made to the host that the classical guitar music added just the right touch to the party. I have worked with party planners, caterers, and event planners for over fifteen years. During this time, it has been my privilege to perform for a vast amount of private parties, from garden parties, wine tastings, open houses, anniversaries, brunches, teas, holiday parties, political fund- raisers, grand opening of businesses, office parties, wedding showers, romantic dinners, dinner cruises, and others. 

My selection of music is tailored to meet the desired mood and theme of the gathering. It can be more classical or more jazzy depending on the nature of the occasion.  For events where children will be present, I include an array of Disney show tunes. For a more mature crowd, I will include jazz standards and music of Gershwin, Kern, Porter, and Jobim, as well as Broadway musical classics. 

I have different size sound systems that can discreetly add enough amplification to meet the need of any occasion and location, whether large or small, indoors or outdoors. 

Music for Corporate Events

It has been my privilege to be hired by corporations and music agencies to provide the music for a variety of events. These include retirement parties, promotional dinners, trade shows, exhibits, political dinners, receptions, convention entertainment, marketing dinners, and corporate anniversaries. In most instances the music provided a classy ambience to an affair that was meant to impress clients or show appreciation for employees. It also required a level of sophistication in musical selections, professionalism in appearance, and in the delivery of the music.  The right music can actually loosen or enhance the formality of the occasion and in most cases help create a more relaxed event for client and host.  Here again, flexibility is crucial. Often corporate events are planned around a presentation and a special agenda with careful time restraints. The music should adjust to the agenda and compliment the occasion.
